Our project partner, Drive Oregon, was featured on Science Friday on June 20, 2014. "Portland, Oregon, is a model city for sustainable urban transit where trolleys, trams, light rail, and cars run on the state's plentiful hydroelectric power.

KGW News aired a segment on our research with Kaiser Permanente and Drive Oregon on April 25th. They discussed how e-bikes (and electric vehicles in general) are popping up in Portland as a means of travel. The segment showed study participant David Cook using one of the new e-bikes in the study. Cook lives in a hilly area and hopes using the e-bike might encourage him to commute by bicycle to work more often.
